About Alex

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as a balanced quarterback who can make plays both in the pocket and on the move. I focus on making smart decisions, reading the defense, and putting my team in the best position to succeed. Whether it’s delivering an accurate throw, extending plays with my legs, or staying poised under pressure, I do whatever it takes to keep the offense moving and win games.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m always looking to improve. Hard work is something I take pride in, whether it’s on the field, in the weight room, or studying film. As a leader, I try to set the tone by staying positive, pushing my teammates to be their best, and leading by example. I’m driven to succeed, but I also respect the game, my coaches, and teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Besides playing quarterback for the North Arlington Vikings in New Jersey, I also play QB for Hail Mary Football Academy at Pope John XXIII Regional High School and for the Under Armour Flag League. In 2023, I was honored with the Offensive MVP award for the North Arlington Vikings football season, and in 2024, I received the All-Around MVP award for the team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As QB and captain, I have developed leadership by keeping my teammates motivated and focused, both on and off the field. I take responsibility for learning plays, helping teammates understand their roles, and staying positive even when things don’t go our way. Teamwork is another big skill I’ve improved I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, trust my teammates, and work together to win games.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I’m facing is preparing for the jump to high school football. The game is faster, competition is tougher, and there’s more responsibility as a QB. I’ve been working hard to improve my mechanics, study the playbook, and develop my leadership skills so I can earn my teammates trust. It's a challenge, but its an opportunity to grow and prove that I'm ready for the next level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong Division 1 football program where I can develop as a quarterback and compete at a high level. I want a school that has great coaching, a winning culture, and a system that fits my playing style. Academically, I’m looking for a school that will support me in both football and my education, helping me prepare for life on and off the field.
