Probably this biggest surprise on the list, Fuller eclipsed over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and 12 TDs and added 400 yards in the return game with 2 more scores. Bradyn has impeccable vision and blessed with breakaway speed. A threat in all three phases of the game, he will not get overlooked next season.

Akron ran into some QB problems halfway through the season as their starter went down in Week 4. But that didn't stop Gerstung from being an integral part of their offensive gameplan. Blake is a solid route runner with sound hands. He finished his junior year with 32 catches for 382 yards and 6 TDs while recording 40 tackles on defense.

There isn't much film on Gibbs but he came in as a freshman and showed sound technical abilities as a DB racking up 70 tackles. I can only believe this is a short term full time job as he is expected to be the team's starting QB in 2026. But don't be surprised if he receives accolades as a WR and/or DB in his sophomore season.

Nealy took a step back as a DL in his junior year but improved greatly as a WR. He has the perfect size to be a premier wideout and has excellent athletic abilities.

Boswell's name is new to me as his school get little coverage but I saw his name in our database and was expecting a DB. Nyquan is actually a DL and a fierce one at that. He has a big frame at 6' 255 lbs. and hits with ruthless aggression. He finished his sophomore season with 22 tackles, 3 sacks, an INT, 2 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.

Players to Watch in 2025

There were several other players this season that did not have the impact that was foreseen but I expect many of them to reach their potential in 2025.

Medina has many underclassmen that can produce at a high level. DB [player_tooltip player_id='1364005' first='Elijah' last='Doxey'] I had pegged as a breakout player with his versatility and ball hawking instincts. Another DB, [player_tooltip player_id='1513382' first='Jayzon' last='Wills'] will be a player to watch for. Wills can also be an exceptional complimentary RB.

Three RBs I really liked coming into this season were Quinten Brown from Salamanca, [player_tooltip player_id='1249378' first='Isaiah' last='Gerstung'] from Newfane and [player_tooltip player_id='1513361' first='Markel' last='Davis'] from Fredonia. Brown is very talented but was overshadowed by another breakout player, Xavier Peters. Peters in graduating, leaving the door open for Brown to take the reins for the Class C sectional champs. Gerstung had a down season but I expect a bounce back year as a senior. Davis is relatively unknown but is a tough, speedy runner as well as an instinctive DB.

Class D has two Class of '28 RBs to keep an eye on as their careers progress; [player_tooltip player_id='1367174' first='Sawyer' last='Whitney'] from CSP and [player_tooltip player_id='1513387' first='Zane' last='Rodgers'] from Gowanda.
