Whitney was a solid complimentary RB as a freshman. He is a good runner between the tackles and also has the speed to break it outside. He has a strong lower body and is difficult to bring down. Many players from CSP’s back-to-back Sectional Champion teams are graduating which will open the door for Sawyer to take on a leadership role.

NYS champions, CSP were led by mostly seniors but Whitney emerged as a solid underclassmen and showed what the future could mean for the Wolfpack. Sawyer has a low center of gravity and is tough to bring down with solid balance and good vision.
