Tristen made All State Honorable Mention on defense and was a WNY Class C-South First Team All League member. Look for him to lead Chautauqua Lake as their starting QB in 2026.

I could not find any film on Gibbs from this past season but he was a breakout player with 70 tackles as a DB. This is really a player to monitor how he develops because he is also a QB. His brother, Brayden is currently the starter at Chautauqua Lake and it is expected Tristen will take over QB duties in 2026.

There isn’t much film on Gibbs but he came in as a freshman and showed sound technical abilities as a DB racking up 70 tackles. I can only believe this is a short term full time job as he is expected to be the team’s starting QB in 2026. But don’t be surprised if he receives accolades as a WR and/or DB in his sophomore season.

Gibbs played a key role on the Chautauqua Lake defense as a safety, racking up 70 tackles in his freshmen season. There is no film available on Tristen yet but it is noteworthy that he is expected to be a Class of ’28 QB prospect when he takes over play calling duties in 2026.
