Question I Want Answered: Is this a Power Four QB Prospect?

6'4, 205 pounds. 4.0 GPA, ranked as the 6th best QB prospect among 2027 New Jersey passers. Self-reports some impressive testing numbers, excited to see if he can replicate a 9'10" Broad Jump and 4.4 Shuttle at our camp. Former South Philly Shark, a young man who has grown exponentially over the years, this in terms of height and weight. I can't pretend to have extensive knowledge of all things surrounding Pennington School's Cannon Benzio. He resides out of my rein on PRZ, I haven't watched him play in person. I have heard rumblings about this young man's potential, his tape and highlights I come across certainly portray exactly that. Before I plug him to the names I know across the Northeast, I want to see something substantial with my own eyes. I want to see if his height/weight checks out, I want to see how lively his arm is, how seasoned his release is as a current underclassman. What's his temperament like? Excited to learn some things this Friday night.

Question I Want Answered: Can McCracken stay atop our QB Rankings moving forward?

6'1, 180 pounds. 4.2 GPA. Finished the year completing 75 balls for 950 yards passing and 11 total scores. I haven't cut on the McCracken tape yet, but will be doing so once 2027 rankings time gets closer. McCracken ranked inside the Top 150, inside the top 15 at his position as an underclassman before the season began. As we know, a large influx of prospects are scheduled to be evaluated for the first time, will this result in a rise or fall in our rankings in favor of McCracken? The Kennett sophomore QB performing well at this event would further bolster his stock. Being named a Top Performer out of this group would go a long way in keeping his rank inside the Top 200. Time will tell. I'm a fan of his game either way.

Question I Want Answered: What is Challenger's Recruiting Upside?

6'1, 155 pounds. 4.5 GPA. Debuted on our site as the 2nd best QB prospect among freshman PA prospects. I always tell underclassmen to take early rankings with a grain of salt, there is a substantial amount of tape left to be dished out, a substantial amount of football has yet to be played. That being said, I've heard nothing but good things about Challenger's upside. I will have to gauge whether or not I will keep Challenger on our rankings since no tape has been posted post-freshman year. I do have other questions I want answered. How raw is Challenger from a mech perspective? What are his measurables like? Is there room to grow? I want to leave this event excited about this young man's future. I hope he comes ready to impress.

Question I Want Answered: Am I still too low on [player_tooltip player_id='647205' first='Noah' last='Keating']?

For years now, Pennridge's [player_tooltip player_id='647205' first='Noah' last='Keating'] grade has fluctuated between FCS and Division II. I have always leaned toward the side of Keating being a viable option for FCS schools looking for a worthy HS recruit. The likes of Villanova, SFU, Bucknell, I've always felt that this young man is a good take for any of these programs. As we know, these programs are waiting later and later to recruit HS prospects, even later for HS quarterbacks, specifically. Keating having no offers to his name at this point in time should not alarm anyone. There is ample time for recruiting to pick up, I am adamant about this. Something tells me that I am still a bit too low on all things Keating. QBs play by different rules in this new CFB landscape. The fight for a spot at the next-level has never been more tenacious. I have a feeling that if Keating keeps his nose down, head in the books and continues to progress on the football field, recruiting will eventually catch up. Patience will be needed. Excited to see him in person.

Question I Want Answered: Where does Traynor stack up alongside PA QBs?

I'm excited to see a new face here in PA. New Fairfield's Michael Traynor will be in attendance, he's currently ranked as a Top 20 junior quarterback in New England, likely ranked higher if we single out Connecticut passers. Boasts a 3.3 GPA. 6'3, 190 pounds. I'm going into this event a bit blind on all things Traynor. I see he has tape posted on Hudl, but I will refrain from watching so that I can watch him perform with an unbiased opinion. Where does Traynor stack up among his out-of-state competitors? This serves as a great benchmark for himself moving forward. What's more impressive than his positional rank is his overall rank, provided by New England lead scout Roger Silva. Traynor ranks just 13 spots away from the Top 150. Excited to learn more.
