Murtadha’s best performance to date. Compared to in-season as well as last December’s Rising Stars camp, Murtadha looks noticably faster and more balanced.
The key here is agility. Yesterday, Murtadha did a much better job of recovering and staying in front of his opponent. His feet have gotten a step quicker, and I can see Murtadha guessing less out of his set. Those reps where he’d normally get beat are now 50/50 reps, while his ‘good’ snaps have become great. There’s still a lot of room to grow- I’d love to see him get even faster.
It was an awesome OL group with a few prospects holding P4 offers. Murtadha earned OL MVP by outperforming the high-offer prospects.

You cannot pass up this size. The Fordson offensive tackle is unrelenting and has a great work ethic. He has already been out to camps and working this offseason, which is awesome. His long arms and strong base allows him to anchor down and consumer pass rushers. He has the agility to move and shuffle and stay square which is a huge plus for a kid this size. Still nimble and mobile enough to be versatile. Murtadha will undoubtedly draw a ton of eyes at camps this offseason, and his performances could earn him a number of offers.

It’s cliche to say “you can’t teach size” but in this case, you truly cannot beat this size. Allabbah is big and physical and has all of the necessary traits to be great. Long arms, strong lower body, and clearly understands blocking schemes and his assignment on each play.
I noticed right away that sometimes he doesn’t have the quickest first step, but he does a tremendous job of locking on and driving his guy to the ground. Not only does get drive his initial defender to the ground, often times he is going to find the next guy to take out of the play. Pass blocking is decent for Murtadha, as he keeps a nice wide base and doesn’t cross his feet. Strong showing for Allabbah last season just raises my expectations going into 2025! Can’t wait to see how he evolves his game in the offseason.

You could spot Murtadha from a mile away. I didn’t know of Murtadha before the showcase, but I immediately circled him on my roster because of his excellent size.
Keeping things brief- I project that Murtadha will be a Division 2 prospect next year. The size will be a major draw. His pass blocking is OK right now, but he could use some improvement. For one, Murtadha needs to work on his punch. His hands are in good position- up and ready to punch, but he consistently failed to bring the heat to the opposing linemen. Murtadha had some good reps where he got his hands in position, locking out and stonewalling his opposition.
Murtadha has other footwork/hands issues to clean up, but they are 1000% all fixable. Fix most of those issues, he could be a D1 prospect. Fix just a few, and he’s a GLIAC guy.
