Reaves outperformed what I saw from him against Farmington a few months back.
His athletic ability popped a little more than I was expecting. Playing WR, Reaves had a consistently above-average release, and changed direction way better than I’d expect from a 6’0″+ receiver. In his breaks, Reaves kept his hips low with efficient footwork. Finally, I saw flashes when it came to catch radius and hands. Reaves was able to come down with a few difficult passes. He proved himself further by snagging a few balls in tight coverage.

Reaves has an excellent opportunity against Cass Tech this weekend.
I got a great look at TJ last week. Loved what I saw regarding TJ’s athletic profile, as well as his hands and general ball skills. Defensively, he did a nice job in the run game, and always takes agressive angles to the ballcarrier.
TJ is a ball of talent. Super high upside on both sides of the ball, and I’m excited to see what he shows at safety against the Cass Tech offense. There should be a lot more high-quality pass defense opportunities- can’t wait to see what TJ shows in coverage against Cass Tech’s WRs.
