About Jasiah
Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Jasiah is a player that stands out as soon as he steps onto the field. With a recent showing at the Prep Redzone Who’s Next, Jasiah put his speed, quickness and finesse on full display. While I didn’t get the chance to cover the D-lineman that weekend, I knew Jasiah was balling out and deserved another look back at his film from the previous year.
Jasiah has a relentless motor with the mindset to come in off of the edge with an aggressive attitude. He is one of the those edge rushers that can blow up the play before it ever gets started. I am thoroughly impressed with not only the speed he can maintain off of the line, but the arsenal of pass rush moves Jasiah is equipped with. His speed rush is his bread and butter, but he has also showed he can club the lineman’s hands away with ease, maintaining separation and clearing a path into the backfield.

Jasiah turned heads at the Next Combine this past offseason, showcasing the kind of intensity and athleticism that make him a standout in the 2031 class. His tall, rangy frame and long arms give him a clear edge, and he proved it by blazing past competitors in the 40 and shuttle, moving faster than many he competed against.
When he explodes off the ball from a low stance, you can already picture him using that long reach to drive linemen backward and shed blockers with ease. With an arsenal of moves, great hand usage, and the ability to bend around the edge, Jasiah’s got everything it takes to hunt down quarterbacks. Check out his highlights to see this future star in action.

Read EvaluationJonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Being one of the youngest athletes at the entire Next Northeast camp, Jasiah impressed by competing at the same level and intensity as the athletes two grades older than him. Jasiah not only showed he belonged along with the best, but proved that he is a name worth remembering. Jasiah has an athletic build and looks like he will thrive as a speedy edge rusher. He ran some of the quicker 40 and shuttle times of the group (5.53 sec and 5.12 sec), but I expect those numbers to jump considerably by the time he gets to 8th grade. An explosive defender with a ton of jump off of the ball, Jasiah is one of those prospects that will get a lot of attention early in his career.
