The Rize: Scouting Notebook on Defensive Line, Part 4

A double-session prospect showcase, this event drew middle school prospects from all across the country to see how they stacked up against their national counterparts. Each prospect was personally hand-selected by middle school guru&nbsp;<a href="https://x.com/AlPopsFootball">Al Pops</a>&nbsp;to compete and attend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As per usual, I attended and report to you my positional notes for the position group referenced in the title of this article. [player_tooltip player_id='1590287' first='Jasiah' last='Dennis']' future prospects bode well for him. In one of the more savvy and situationally aware reps on the day, Dennis was tasked with opposing a prospect that was probably at least 8 inches taller than him and 100lbs, if not more, heavier than him. Although he played high, this is something typical for offensive linemen who have yet to play in the 8th grade. Against a more prodding offensive lineman, Lewis got off the edge scored an easy, uncontested victory with a ghost dip. A former linebacker, Granger showed off his strength.
