Last week I saw him in attendance at MSSU and was excited to see him go to work once more. Washick can absolutely rip the football, its quite impressive to see.

I put Monett on my game calendar, and I can’t wait to see him play on Friday nights.

It was definitely well deserved after the performance he had at this prospect camp. Washick definitely had the most zip on the ball out of any of the quarterbacks in attendance. He definitely showed that there is levels to throwing the football, and he was in a class all his own.

During the competition period Washick was putting the ball right on the money. He has great form and a pretty quick release matched with his 6’2 175 pound frame he is a great football prospect. Washick might duplicate his eye popping numbers his Senior year.

It wouldn’t be a bombs away article if we didn’t include the guy that threw the most passing yards in the entire nation. Washick put up a whopping 4,433 passing yards and 44 touchdowns. Coach Mauk had this offense humming all 2025 and Washick was the motor of the machine. Washick can absolutely let the football fly, he has a very strong arm and he can read a defense very, very well.

Washick also isn’t too shabby at using his legs and taking off when he needs to. If Washick can even come close to his 2025 numbers he should be considered as one of the best quarterbacks in the nation.

Passing yards 3487, Passing TD’s 38, 9-int. Washick is almost the entire offense for the Monnett Cubs. With numbers like these, it speaks for itself.

Washick has put up some video game numbers thus far.

He has put up some gaudy numbers that resemble a game of Madden. 1904 passing yards, with 19 touchdowns, with 5 more games to play, is impressive to say the least.

Washick is a field general for the Monett Cubs. He sees the football field so well and when he has time to sit in the pocket he can carve up the best of defenses.

Washick is only a Junior, so we get to enjoy his play for two more years.

The Monett Cubs did not have the best of 2024 year going 3-7 on the season, but Mr. Washick Had an amazing season passing for a gaudy 3269 passing yards and 22 passing touchdowns.

But don’t let that deter you from the fact that this young man is only a sophomore, and he can flat-out play some football. The Cubs deployed a five-wide “air raid-type” offense, which allowed Washick to really spread the ball around. This young QB is just going to keep improving.
