MSSU Prospect Camp “Offensive Standouts” 2026

He might possibly have displayed the best hands in attendance, he caught the ball so effortlessly and had a pretty big catch radius as well. On top of having top tier ball skills he showed the coaching staff that he can run really clean, savvy routes that kept the defensive backs off balance, and every route he ran looked like he was running a "9" route. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cohen also showed he can play some defensive back, proving his versatility. I'm a fan of the gunslinger from Arkansas, he has a pretty smooth throwing motion and knows exactly where to place the football. In all the throwing drill's put on by the coaching staff he looked confident in his abilities amongst a really good group of older quarterbacks. Although I haven't had the pleasure of watching Xavier play in person on Friday nights, I did get to see a small sample last week at MSSU prospect camp. Saying Jauregui was impressive would be a understatement, he made a lasting impression on the whole coaching staff with his immense power and surprising agility for such a big guy. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I think Xavier is just getting better every season. Last week I saw him in attendance at MSSU and was excited to see him go to work once more. Once again [player_tooltip player_id='1590229' first='Dylan' last='Washick'] displayed the most "zip" on his throws than the other participants. He was absolutely in a flow state last week throwing the football, he has a big arm that can throw the whole route tree.
