Pinkston is listed at 6020 and anywhere from 230 to 240, carrying a strong thick build, and plays off the edge with both his hand in the dirt and out of two point stance. He puts forth a great effort to play with leverage, fires off the ball with aggressive forward lean. Pinkston has very good upper body strength, is violent and physical with his upper limbs at the point of attack. He stuns, stands up, and overpowers blockers at his level. There is lateral suddenness as he spikes to the ball carrier and changes direction. Nose for the ball is very good, has a great motor in pursuit, and a heavy tackler as he exerts his strength and force on contact. Pinkston has a handful of Division I offers and will continue to be heavily evaluated this offseason.
