Yates put up huge numbers in Week 1 against Rockwood Summit to set a high floor on his 2026 senior campaign – 60 yards off 19 carries and a touchdown on the ground – 220 yards on 8 receptions and 4 touchdowns in the passing game. He also does work in the return game as well. On the year, he has 9 touchdowns, 4 on the ground, 4 through the air, and 1 off an 88 yard kick return. Add in a pair of 2-point conversions. Though undersized, Yates has some juice to him, can make defenders miss in space with vision and wiggle, and enough speed to be a threat to finish plays to the house. He is an all purpose back that coaches want to get the ball to in space and let him work. We currently have Yates as one of the top Division III prospects in the State of Missouri. Some lower level programs have jumped on board.
