Class of 2026: My D2 & D3 Graded RBs

Continuing the trend of sharing my projected college value of incoming seniors. Now's the time that D2 and D3 schools look hard at the class of 2026- so these guys are "next up!"   This spring, I expect every one of these Running Backs to earn offers.   Check out my grading criteria below for some context of what my grades mean! "A+" - Superstar | "A" - P4 | "A-" - Fringe P4 | "B+" - MAC | "B" - High-end D2 | "B-" - Middle D2 | "C+" - Low D2 | "C" - High-end D3 | "C-" - D3 | "D+" - NAIA | D or Below - Below Average    Jakoby has shown enough consistent improvement for me to consider him a Division 2 prospect. I mean, just look at his State Championship performance. Offensively, he had 81 yards rushing and 1TD on 12 carries. Defensively, he totaled 4 tackles, 2TFL, 1 forced fumble, and 1 Sack.   Of course, stats don't nearly paint a full picture. Also, what I saw was incredible toughness, leadership, and good athleticism. On the toughness aspect, Jakoby consistently fights for extra yards, and defensively, he consistently stops the opposition from falling forward. Leadership-wise, he's a sparkplug. So much energy, and his team really feeds off of it. Lastly and arguably most importantly, he's an athlete. Quick, fast, explosive. He's a GLIAC prospect if I've ever seen one.     I know that Carson has several D1 offers, but he's a high-tier GLIAC guy for me currently. I like his athleticism, but I honestly don't think it's on-par with some of the other highly-touted RBs in this class. Granted, I haven't seen any testing times- I'm just going off of film. On top of that, I think Carson is a good receiver, good at breaking tackles, and has good vision- but I don't see "elite" in any of those areas.   Here's where I currently grade Carson   Athleticism: B-   IQ: C+   Strength: C+   Receiving: C+     I'm very excited to see where [player_tooltip player_id='1298677' first='Daniel' last='Carter'] ends up. He's a lesser-known prospect but has excellent highlights, plus he performed super well last offseason. My gut says that if he was an incoming senior at last summer's camp at Davenport, he would have received an offer.   Well, now, he's an incoming senior when it comes to football. D2s and D3s are now looking hard at the class of 2026, and it's Daniel's time to shine. He's a pure 3-down back- here's how I grade him.   Athleticism: B-   IQ: C+   Strength: B-   Receiving: D+     Garlands has been working his tail off for a long time now, and I think he's set up for several D3 offers this Spring.   He's already pretty polished in several areas. At his best, Garlands is receiving screens and racking up yards after catch. In the open field, he has pretty good contact balance and runs like a freight train. Where he struggles most is basic inside carries. I like his patience, but he doesn't have the explosiveness to consistently break big runs.   Athleticism: C+   IQ: C-   Strength: C   Receiving: B     (Evaluation from my Rankings Spreadsheet)   Strengths   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Blocking. Excellent lead blocker, pass protector, etc. De La Salle does an excellent job developing that aspect of RB play</li>   <li>Physicality translates to running. Bulldozes in short-yardage situations. Does a decent job of keeping his balance until he's gained a few yards</li> </ul>   Weaknesses   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Not athletic enough for D2. Cannot run outside the tackles. Cannot earn chunk plays consistently. </li>   <li>Underdeveloped contact balance, especially for size. Yes, he's physical, but cannot keep balanced.</li> </ul>   Summary   Really good at blocking, which the vast majority of HS backs suck at. Really bad at basic running, which most HS backs are decent at. Train the athlete, and you could have a dominant D3 RB
