chose the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over offers from 20+ other programs around the country and will head to South Bend with a plethora of raw talent and nuanced technique that will keep Irish fans on their feet for years to come. For now, he’s been rousing fans around Glen Ellyn, breaking hearts of opposing fan bases, and giving nightmares to would-be defenders who toss and turn at night thinking about how Williams will embarrass them on Friday night. Despite not having verified times in terms of speed, Williams is one of the fastest players I saw while watching film for the PRzIL 2024 rankings update, able to run his QB’s throws and take the top off the defense as easily as me or you can walk to the kitchen. With good shake at the LOS in his releases, Williams can get DBs to reach, open the gate, or get off balance, which allows him to easily stack and burn the panicking CB for giant gains and game-breaking receptions. The speed also translates to after the catch, where the 6’2, 190 lber. can cut at top speed without losing momentum and take the utmost advantage of space given to him in the open field. In additional exciting fashion, his control and vertical ability to high point the football & pluck it out of the air and away from his body makes for thrilling catches on top of helpless CBs and safeties, and Williams can play through contact and win contested catches that are a guarantee to get fans on their feet and his teammates fired up. He also owns a solid stiff-arm and has no problem dropping his shoulder and meeting defenders with physicality, and is just as dangerous after the catch as he throughout a route. He’s clinical WR with top-tier athleticism that combine for an electric skillset that is one of the finest in the US of A. Notre Dame got a baller!

in the pocket, Cam has excelled in producing major stats for Glenbard South’s offense. The future member of the Fight Irish averaged over 100 yards per game and was a proven spark for their offense with over 20 yards per reception. Cam is one of the smoother route runners that I have had the chance to evaluate and his speed makes him almost impossible to cover. Cam’s pure athleticism allows him to step through coverage easily and work around defenders with the ball in his hands. The most impressive aspect of Cam’s game is his explosion. With his high-point capability when he goes up for a ball, watching him going up for a jump ball is flat-out unfair for the defenders around him. From what I have seen, the Fighting Irish have landed a big-time receiver who will have a huge impact at Notre Dame in the future.

Mr. Williams is by far one of the top players in the state overall, not even just for the Class of 24′. The University of Notre Dame Commit really started to come to life later in this game as the air attack opened up with the weather simmering down. When it did, this young man was able to secure the catch off three-step slants with the defender draped all over his back. He also ran a fake punt to pick up the first down late in the third quarter showcasing his deadly foot quicks. This young man also was able to find the soft spot in zone coverage and sit to be an outlet for his quarterback. Also can’t forget his versatility to get involved in the run game running jet sweeps either. All in all, this young man is as good as they come and as we start heading into playoff action you’re going to need to double coverage this young man otherwise he’s going to make you pay. Twitter

After Mr. Williams committed to the University of Notre Dame all eyes were on him this season and this young man has done nothing but ball out showcasing why he’s a great recruit for the Fighting Irish. There hasn’t been a game this season where he didn’t break over 100 receiving yards or get into the endzone. Over six games that’s impressive, to say the least. If you’re an opposing defender you’re going to have a long night trying to cover this young man as he can both win over the top securing 50/50 balls and can break defenders off at the top of the route creating separation. If you leave this young man one-on-one you’re going to be in for a long night. Safe to say Mr. Williams is putting together a stellar season so far and I’m looking forward to seeing how his connection with standout QB
