Wahtola recently took a trip to North Dakota State’s junior day and has had coaches in from Illinois State and Iowa over the last month. Surprised that more G5 programs are not actively recruiting and offering this defensive end from the Chicago Catholic League. At 6’3” he has burst off the snap and excellent use of his hands. Technically sound edge rusher with strength that can also slide inside as a nascar rusher!

is competing at 6032 235 early on in 2026. Has a strong and solid looking build. Plays DE on the football field and will work out at both DE and DL3T in the combine setting, showing particularly well inside. Shows good initial jump off the ball and high RPM feet. Strong and active with his hands, good overall technique. Competes hard. Wrestling background certainly comes into play as he attacks with leverage. Looks like a strong prospect for the 3 tech position at the next level.

The DePaul Prep 6’3″ 250 pound defensive tackle is a load! He has versatility being able to slide outside as well taking snaps at DE. As a three technique he is consistently putting pressure on the QB up the middle. Brings down quarterback with violence. Solid use of hands and understands angles. Eyes are always up field reading what is going on. Also plays some tight end where he is tough to bring down when he has the ball.
