O’Connor was named Bayside Conference Offensive Player of the Year after posting tremendous numbers this season. He led his class with 3,367 total yards, including 1,936 passing yards and 1,431 rushing yards. O’Connor accounted for both passing and rushing touchdowns in all but two games. A highly athletic quarterback, he excels at extending plays outside the pocket, keeping his eyes downfield to make throws while also breaking off big runs on scrambles. His ability to create opportunities both in the air and on the ground made him a constant threat throughout the season.
