Jamison Barnes
Jamison Barnes
About Jamison
Expert Analysis
CJ Marable | Prep Redzone Scout
Barnes has one of the liveliest arms in the 2028 class, capable of throwing with velocity to every level of the field. His confidence shows when he pushes the ball into tight coverage windows, and he often makes throws others wouldn’t attempt. That fearless mentality, paired with his arm strength, makes him a big-play quarterback in any offense. Barnes has also flashed mobility, which allows him to launch throws on the run without losing velocity. He’s a prospect whose raw talent could blossom into elite production.

is a talented dual-threat out of Briarwood Christian who’s now ranked as our #6 QB and #54 overall prospect in the state.
“Barnes is a dual threat who can easily beat you through the air and on the ground- he’s highly athletic and is a guy defenses have to gameplan against in multiple ways. Barnes is an effective passer- he sees the field well and accurately hits his WRs all around the field, completing difficult passes along the sideline, deep downfield, and through tightly contested windows.
What seriously impresses me with Barnes is how well he produces on the ground. He has great speed, can make defenders miss, and is a threat in the open field every time he leaves the backfield.“
Barnes put together some impressive numbers last season, ending his freshman year by completing 61/92 passes for 1754 yards and 17 TDs, to 0 INTs.
We’re going to have to look out for Barnes this upcoming season- in the meantime, check out some of his tape below:
