. Walsh has great size early on and he moves extremely well with it. He has the smarts for the position and that part gets overlooked for linemen for some reason but it’s a mental game as well. He is the complete package on the offensive and defensive lines.

to be a prospect atop many recruiting lists for parochial schools when he is in 8th grade next year. Already at 6’2″, the Sayreville youth product will have several options assuming he lives in-or-around Sayreville. Between the parkway, turnpike, and 440, Walsh will have options north, south, and in Staten Island. I am curious to know if he is the younger brother of Connor Walsh, a standout two-way lineman for the bombers a few years ago.
Without question Walsh was the biggest prospect at the tryout, standing upwards of 6-foot-2 and I’m estimating he’s in the 240-pound range. Assumingly the biggest kid on every field he steps on, there are certainly some technique and fundamental things to work on—but you can’t teach this size. He has boats for feet and impressive length. Tie in an older brother and Dad with college football experience, he has the genetics and size to go far.
