Coach comments on McMillian:
“Kaeshon is a jack of all trades. Wherever you need a dog to step in and make a play, he is the one to step up. He led our team in interceptions this weekend, as well as helping us with key first-down and touchdown grabs on the offensive end.”

McMillian is an obvious RB projection, built into a compact frame with stout mass. He was extremely reliable underneath, and offered a consistent target by playing a TE-like role, settling down and using his broad size to box out DBs and protect the catch point. You need guys like this to make a deep run, and thankfully, HARM had a few of them, including McMillian.

and his darting running style. He understands angles and cutback lanes at an advanced level. Watching him in person and on film, he also seems to have an innate grasp on when to trust his speed or not.

If you’re looking for a reliable back to wear down a defense and who can find the hidden yardage in between the tackles, look no further than my man Kaeshon. He is a physical runner with good contact balance to finish runs falling forward. His mature frame is intimidating when he gets outside on smaller tacklers. Once his shoulders are square and he has options, that’s a sign for trouble.

, as he runs the ball with a forward lean and “finds the right angles/running lanes to make things happen.” As it tuend out, those words couldn’t have been more on the money. Mcmillian Jr. put the game’s first points on the board, after taking a direct snap up the sidelines before a few nice cuts allowed him to cross the goal line for 43-yard scamper. He went on to have a few other nice runs on the day.
