Up ten pounds from when we first added him to our Watchlist.

Smith-Ray doesn't have a complete mid-season tape out quite yet, he does have single-game cut-ups for each week that has passed by, coaches will appreciate this. I attended the Roman-AP Randolph game a couple weeks back, was tough to learn anything of value considering how over-matched and lopsided the game turned out to be. I decided to dive into Smith-Ray's tape against Malvern Prep and St. John's College to get a feel for the type of junior prospect he is.

"Malvern Prep" tape is actually his mid-season. Usually aligns head-up on guards, shading inside shoulder, or in the A-gap pre-snap. I'd recommend putting best plays first and removing slow-mo, never want to make yourself look slow on tape, coaches want to get a feel for your game speed. Can get slippery in the trenches, like the pursuit angles he takes once he sheds blocking. Has to take on duo blocks often, does a good job ripping in an attempt to split. Has some push-pull reps that end up having ASR applying pressure through the pocket. A hustle player from what I can tell. Is often a mismatch against opposing guards, simply being too powerful off the snap. Roman can utilize Smith-Ray at any of the four DL spots in their 4-2-5 scheme. Excited to rank him.

https://twitter.com/AntwanSmithray/status/1827413134031909006

6'3, 250 pounds, a 2026 out of Trinity HS. Aligns as a 3-tech in a 3-4 front that likes to bring the weak-side OLB down to the LOS. Bit of a game-wrecker in the trenches, can blow up run sets before they have a chance to form. Mulbah does a great job consistently penetrating upfield, his pressure causes backs to veer off the desired path and into the lap of his DL counterparts. TFLs are littered across his tape, Mulbah is football conscience, attempts to strip or punch balls out when the opportunity presents itself. Is a bit beefier than his build suggests, Mulbah looks like a lean 250 pounds. Has a good number of deflected balls at the LOS I might add. Love that Mulbah can affect the game outside of TFLs and sacks, a sign of a true disruptor.

https://twitter.com/SamuelMulbah20/status/1835994796525007247

[player_tooltip player_id='1156024' first='Luis' last='Martinez'] played the first game of his junior season this past weekend at Bethlehem Catholic. Due to transfer rules, Martinez was held out for a duration of time. Formerly out of Dieruff, Martinez stands at an unassuming 5'10, weighing in at 180 pounds. 3.4 GPA, if you watched the ACC/BecaHi game, you couldn't help but hear Martinez's name called seemingly every other play.

Martinez can provide ACC with two-way reps, quality ones at that. Can play wideout or back, I have a feeling he'll be recruited to play DB at the next level, however. Basing this off of what I saw in person, this kid flies to the football like his head is on fire. A controlled player though, Martinez can fill the alley in support of the run, Martinez can come downhill and stuff runs that stay between the tackles. Martinez was witnessed making tackles all over the field, saving many big plays from becoming touchdowns. Martinez did some things with the football in his hands, yet I came away impressed with his tone-setting skills in the secondary. If Martinez keeps playing like this, he's going to be a lock for PSAC play in the future, maybe more. Would love to see how he tests in a combine setting.

https://twitter.com/PRZPAvic/status/1837664686394708074

6'0, 170 pounds, a DB/ATH out of Coatesville HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506891' first='Elias' last='Hanson'] has a four-minute mid-season highlight tape up on Hudl, he's done his job making sure the many colleges coming through Coatesville can get a sense of the type of DB he is.

First rep out of [player_tooltip player_id='1506891' first='Elias' last='Hanson'] is a good one. The 2026 DB aligns at corner, man/press, stays in phase initially, stays on the hip once the play breaks down too, leading to Hanson being in the right place to secure an interception in the red zone. Hanson was aware enough to stick with his man even after the play began to break down, love to see this. As the tape continues, you can find Hanson picking off passes left and right from his single-high safety alignment. Hanson does a great job playing center field, making sure nothing gets behind him, all the while playing the football and reeling in errant passes that stray away from targets. The three interceptions are great, yet I love that I can call Hanson a complete DB considering how well he plays the run from CB/SCB/S spots. Unafraid, great angles to the football, can help set the edge at times, Hanson is an all-around DB who is going to rank high when the time comes. I can't go without mentioning the help Hanson has provided the offense. Coatesville is missing a ton of pass-catching talent from years past, Hanson has done a fantastic job filling in at wideout. Good player.

https://twitter.com/EliasHanson6/status/1837555240985678211

6'3, 320 pounds according to his Hudl. 4.2 GPA, a tackle prospect out of Woodland Hills HS.

Askerneese Jr. has a first-three that includes his late-august scrimmage, we appreciate the young man doing what he can to fully consolidate his best reps into one tape. Plugging in the first-four, you'll be met with a prompt stating that Askerneese hasn't given up a sack, a TFL, or been called for a hold through four weeks. The tape he shows backs up the notion regardless of the whether or not that statement holds true. Loves to utilize the pull-down/snatch to flatten off-balance defenders. Askerneese does this while getting depth, easily collapsing EDGE guys who aren't balanced. Woodland Hills wants to spread the football around, this means Askerneese is often going to be left on an island to hold down the right side of the line, not much seen in terms of a TE/RB chip. Askerneese, at 300+ pounds, isn't going to wow coaches with incredible feet or bend, that's not his game. An anchor who can get depth, a big body who can absorb a ton of power, vice grips for hands, his grip strength is likely impressive. Askerneese might have a future at IOL once you consider all of his best traits, it makes sense. I won't shortchange the junior lineman either, he does a great job in pass-pro from what I can tell. WH llikes to chuck the ball around, the WH coaching staff trusts Askerneese to play OT still. Good player.

https://twitter.com/RolandAskernee3/status/1835348247637889073

6'4, 215 pounds. Recorded about 20 tackles through four games, has two single-game cut-ups on tape through five weeks, would love to see more. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a potential mid-season tape out of the junior soon.

Checking out all Botti has to offer via Hudl, you can get the sense that GCC needs him aligned at important positions like OT/DE. I'm unsure if Botti serves as a starting tackle right now. I do, however, like what I see out of him from a defensive perspective. His build suggests he might be better suited to play OLB or TE, yet the young man is still producing where he's needed. Raw in terms of pass rush tech, raw in terms of hand-fighting to shed, yet a good amount of runs stopped that were headed his way. Botti's a tough kid to down-block, he's slippery as his 215-pound frame suggests, so getting a hold of him is tough if opposing OL miss his chest early. I want to see more before getting too excited, however. A mid-season tape showing off all of his tackles in one place would be great to see, as well as all of his XP and punting snaps. I'll be on the lookout.

https://twitter.com/Jamesbotti88/status/1835416618618253420

Watched everything [player_tooltip player_id='1352754' first='Carter' last='Giberson'] has to offer currently on Hudl. A lot of good take aways. Might be the best prospect on this list of new names. Obvious intrigue based on size alone, yet there are nuances on tape that have me excited, more so than his many pancake blocks. Primaries as the right tackle over at Southern Lehigh. Blends pass-pro and run-blo reps well, you can get a good sense of where he's at in both areas via tape. The first thing that sticks out to me are his feet. Phenomenal feet that get out in front of where Giberson wants to be. Far too many young linemen have their hands and shoulders where their feet should be. Bad base leads to lunging, which leads to unbalanced play. Giberson's feet get his backside in the hole all while provided a base that Giberson can actually drive off of. This leads to real displacement, this leads to real steering, too many OL are witnessed lunging forward. Great hip/elbow torque after he latches onto an opponent, great steerer, great down-blocker. If Giberson were to drop a few pounds, I don't think it would hurt his power game, it might elevate his prowess as a pass-protector. I see good reps as an anchor outside, he could be special if it's easier on his knees to get depth, say at 285-295 pounds. Traits I've seen on other Division One linemen prospects, I just want to see more. A mid-season tape is a must right now, you can't find linemen with this kind of size growing on trees. Lot of promise and potential here.

Junior prospect out of Martin Luther King. 6'1, 165 pounds. Has a seven-minute mid-season tape on Hudl posted just a day ago, this coming after MLK's game against Bartram.

A safety with the mentality of a linebacker. Commeger is usually found sitting comfortable in two-high safety sets, either being the safety who rotates down into the box or the one rotating toward the center of the field, he can be trusted to do both. Love the pursuit angles he takes, love the ability to set the edge if tasked with doing so. You would figure the kid weighs 180-190 pounds the way he can strike the football. Keep contain, doesn't get caught looking inside, is a true safety in every sense of the word, Commeger can stop big plays from becoming touchdowns, this likely deemed very valuable by the coaching staff at MLK. A really tough DB to break down in front of, he often out pursues would-be blockers and stifles outside runs before they get a chance to develop. Like his bio suggests, I have no doubt Commeger could serve a role inisde the front-seven or at wideout. Players like this help you win football games, there might not be a plethora of splash plays on tape, this being totally fine. When you can boasts a tape littered with fantastic run stops, you have something to brag about. I do, however, would love to see how he handles pass coverage reps, this being important if we want to project him to safety. If he's a pure backer with R&R skills, he'll need to beef up at some point.

https://twitter.com/MrdifferentMot1/status/1837983236275806433
