About Garrett

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Athletic and tall QB that can make every throw, out of the pocket and on the run, and can get 1st downs with my speed and elusiveness.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Competitor who loves to compete with my teammates in the ultimate team sport. I love to win and I'm relentless about putting in work to get better every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

HS Basketball and Baseball, AAU Basketball, HS Band

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm part of our football leadership committee and was chosen by our Athletic Director to be one of a few participants on an all sports leadership committee at our school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

We all face challenges, but I'm blessed to have a great family, friends, teammates, coaches, and support system around me that wants me to succeed and realize my dreams.

What type of college are you looking for?

A program that develops QBs and I can help compete for championships.

What a night for the junior QB out of McFarland during their win! Garrett was surgical, picking apart the defense with accuracy, smart ball placement, and excellent touch. Garrett has a long, lean frame but he is still able to quickly get the ball out and doesn’t need to have his feet set to still be accurate. The lefty was super quick with his decision making too, hitting that back foot and getting the ball out instantly. The junior forced the defense to try and cover the entire field because he did a great job of attacking every level. This was a great showing for the junior QB. He is definitely developing as a passer from where he was a year ago.
