Texas' Top Seniors Entering the Fall (1-10)

These are big names that are seen as national recruits across the country. I'd put this list of guys up against just about any state's top ten prospects. The state of Texas' 2025 class is that good. WR: [player_tooltip player_id='281635' first='Dakorien' last='Moore'] Duncanville   One of the nation's elite prospects, who could compete for the #1 overall player spot in the entire country. He was a production machine as a junior, finishing with 1,486 yards & 18 touchdowns against some of the nation's toughest competition. He can fly, he's a technician as a route runner, is buttery smooth at the top of his route, and is a nightmare to bring down after the catch.   Committed to Oregon   2. CB: [player_tooltip player_id='281645' first='Devin' last='Sanchez'] North Shore   A long-limbed corner with excellent mirror skills in press and elite route recognition. Sanchez has a high-level combination of leaping ability and ball skills, he has the downfield speed to run with the best of them, he can easily overlap number two in zone coverage, and has exceptional range when the football is in the air.   Committed to Ohio State   3. QB: [player_tooltip player_id='693011' first='Keelon' last='Russell'] Duncanville   A poised passer with natural arm talent and a feathery deep ball. Russell is extremely athletic when he chooses to tuck it and run, he's brilliant throwing off-platform and can adlib till the very last second to keep a play alive. He knows how to use his eyes to manipulate defenders, he's a capable runner between the tackles and is just a pure winner (29-1 career record).   Committed to Alabama   4. WR: [player_tooltip player_id='231286' first='Andrew' last='Marsh'] Katy Jordan   A physical runner after the catch that defenders tend to pinball off of. He's elusive with the ball in his hands, has got exceptional balance, and can generate late separation downfield. He has the speed to take a quick game concept sixty yards to the house, the body control to adjust to poor throws midflight, and shows strong hands through contact.   Committed to Michigan   5. OL: [player_tooltip player_id='921372' first='Michael' last='Fasusi'] Lewisville   A natural knee bender, with an immense amount of raw power out of his stance, and a serious edge to him. Michael plays through the echo of the whistle and he has grappling hooks for hands making him tough to shed at the point of attack. His legs never stop churning as a run blocker and he's got the lateral quickness to retrace as a pass protector. Michael has smooth change of direction and instant acceleration out of his cuts. He's extremely versatile and can line up in the backfield, at x receiver, or in the slot and generate explosive plays. He's got terrific contact balance, patience, and the shake to make defenders miss 1 on 1.   7. OL: [player_tooltip player_id='285903' first='Dramodd' last='Odoms'] Lamar   Odoms makes displacing down defenders look easy, he has the body control to secure blocks in space and has a nasty streak to him on tape. He moves extremely well for a big man, he fights for inside hand placement on the breastplate and is constantly looking for more work. I think he's got his best football ahead of him. DB: [player_tooltip player_id='919245' first='Jonah' last='Williams'] Ball   An instinctive safety prospect with ball skills, anticipation, and the physicality to come down and run the alley. He's got outstanding closing speed, he's smart and the football always seems to find him. His footwork stays within the framework of his body and he'll deliver some punishing blows from his high safety spot.   Committed to Texas   9. WR: [player_tooltip player_id='286947' first='Kaliq' last='Lockett'] Sachse   This young man is poised through contested catches, he's got outstanding concentration and sticky hands. He effortlessly tracks deep shot throws, has loose hips, plenty of wiggle to make defenders miss after the catch, and will work back to the football at the top of his route. OL: [player_tooltip player_id='919509' first='Ty' last='Haywood'] Denton Ryan   Ty is strong as an ox at the point of attack, he plays with a wide base and uses his powerful lower-half to drive down defenders off the football. His size can be overwhelming for defenders, he's got light feet & stays square to his target in man pass protection. He's violent on down blocks and looks to flatten his opponents.
