Scheel is a crafty, dual-threat quarterback. He has excellent vision in the running game, allowing him to find and exploit gaps at the line of scrimmage. With his running ability, seeing him throw well on the move was not a surprise. He has a strong enough arm to get the ball to the sidelines, but his biggest strength as a passer is the touch he is able to put on his deep throws. A two-way player, he plays a solid defensive back in the slot.

Hernandez is a physical blocker at the point of attack. His strength allows him to stand defenders up and move them off the line of scrimmage. He is athletic enough to reach the second level and operate in space. When he is able to get his hips turned, he is an excellent down blocker from the offensive tackle position. Defensively, he showcases his athleticism by setting the edge and moving into the flat and short zone as a stand-up defensive end. That athletic ability allows him to move laterally. Because of that mobility, he can crash to the inside to make plays and stretch plays out to the outside. Hernandez has position flexibility on defense. He moves inside in certain situations and does a good job taking on double teams.

When Klimek is coming downhill – as a linebacker, ball carrier, or lead blocker – he significantly impacts the game. His ability to be physical stands out quickly. Part of why he can be so violent is because of his speed. Klimek generates a lot of force because he combines size and speed. He is not just a bruiser, however. On offense, the Tigers' athlete can catch the ball out of the backfield and make people miss. He is not just running routes into the flat; he is making plays deep downfield. He can even throw a halfback option pass. Defensively, he moves well in space as a linebacker. When Klimek hits a runner, he wraps up, and the ball carrier is going to go backward.

Rex is too physical coming off the edge as a linebacker for most of the tight ends and tackles he faces on a weekly basis. He does a nice job staying square to the line of scrimmage. He uses his hands well to keep separation from potential blockers. Rex has position flexibility on defense. He is athletic enough to move out to corner and physical enough to line up as an inside linebacker. On offense, Rex has a big arm as a dropback quarterback. His deep balls have touch on them, too – he can thread passes into tight spaces. He has the arm strength to make downfield throws off his back leg. The Vikings' senior doesn't always need to step into his throws to push the ball downfield. He doesn't look to run specifically, but he is a physical runner when he has to run.
