Telona picked up offers from SDSU and Sacramento State after a very strong showing at the Sac State camp and dominating in the one on one session's. The De La Salle standout is a heavy striker that is quick off the ball, creates immediate knock-back and shows quick block recognition, plays with a low hat and can eat up double teams while providing position versatility across the front. He has good size already for his age, and has a powerful lower body while moving very well for his size and can split double teams/hold gaps at the POA. He is a very technically sound player that can hold the edge, lock out blockers with inside hand leverage and can quickly get off blocks and create immediate knock-back from both his interior and edge position. In pass rush situations, he is a natural bender with active hands at the POA and can beat double teams/reach blocks with ease.
