The recent Georgetown Hoyas commit has some real versatility along the defensive line, as Barber has played multiple positions in multiple alignments. He’s primarily a 3-4 defensive end, but he can slide down to 3-technique in even fronts and has a handful of plays at nose tackle. He’s a run-stopping fiend who has some untapped pass-rushing potential, and we’re excited to see him play this season.

While Barber is a bit undersized, he’s extremely strong and that shows up on both sides of the ball. He flashes the ability to drive defenders when he’s on the offensive line and he can hold up at the point of attack on the defensive side of the ball. Barber is also quick, able to chase down quarterbacks in the passing game, or hang with running backs on the ground.
