is a really reliable DB out of Russell County who is coming off his best season yet at the position- he made a ton of plays against some talented offenses and shows a lot of potential. Davis is a hard-hitting safety- he has great sideline-to-sideline quickness, is great at tracking the ball, and delivers some of the biggest hits you’ll see in the state to opposing ball carriers. Davis is rangy and can cover a ton of ground- he’s especially good in run support, consistently flying downfield to shed off blocks and stop the run. Davis is also really tough to throw against deep- doesn’t get burnt by WRS and is always in a great position to make plays on the ball. Davis had his best season to date last fall- ending the year with 81 total tackles (55 solo, 10 for loss) and 2 forced fumbles with one recovered.

Ty has been absolutely impressive this year and possibly one of the most imppresive QBs in the state. Davis is a big QB who can stand in the pocket and make accurate passes while also being able to shake off would be tacklers and find his recievers downfield. Thus far Ty has thrown for almost 2,000 yards and 21 TDs while keeping a healthy 64% completion rate. His performance has a direct impact on the win and loss record of his team. He could serve as a great asset to any pass heavy D2 or higher school.
