BROOKINGS, SD-- We keep firing out our national standouts from the SDSU Prospect Camp last Thursday as we meet a bunch of 2025 prospects that are either way too under the radar for my liking, just got their first D1 offer at a rival teams prospect camp, and much more as we break out nationally with the FCS national champions at SDSU.

Caleb is a WR prospect I see a bunch at camps this summer and at SDSU, I certainly felt a sense of development of some of his skillsets since the 2023 season ended. He has gotten more smooth and better times with his pro agility for sure. The fluid finish that Caleb always seems to play with is another prospect from SDSU that I feel their game speed is faster than what 40-yard they might run. Caleb shows on tape a 2025 wide receiver that has great upfield vision after the catch and that speed jacks up in my eyes in the open field. Certainly a prospect you will see playing on Saturdays.

It seems like this Spring and Summer more than ever there is a lot of production coming out of the Stillwater Ponies football program and at SDSU, that name that popped out was 2025 linebacker Cal Nitti. Cal is a prospect that at 6'1 190 pounds checked in right at his posted measurable and showed off a pro agility that was just under a 4.4. Cal has really sound downhill instincts winning his gaps and getting downhill as a linebacker that intrigues me with his motor. He still has some up upside to climb as far as getting more reps in pass coverage and needing to see how his hands press down defenders, but no doubt, another one that would be a great small school fit that doesn't have his first offer yet.

The craziness of camp season lies here with Mukwonago 2025 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='685907' first='Mason' last='Kelley'], who was one of my top receivers at the SDSU prospect camp on Thursday and then two days later at NDSU (where we were next), picks up his first Division I offer from the Bison. The longevity that Mason played with in his route-running in Brookings struck a chord with me all day as the amount of speed, change of direction and explosive traits Mason had at his disposal were electric to see in person. The 0-10 yard speed that Mason wins with on tape is why this kid is already and will be a weapon at the next level as a slot-back that can do plenty of damage wherever he is lined up and plays with a ton of instinct.

From how the notepad shows off, I will say the state of Kansas had a great showing at the SDSU prospect including defensive back JoJo Arnold from Blue Valley Northwest. Stood next to his broad jump and loved the explosiveness this young man showed off with a 9'6 as the number I got record of. Joseph has long-ranged vision from what I caught glmpses of at SDSU, and seeing what I see on tape that certainlys checks the box there too. JoJo shows off great footwork in every rep I got to watch in Brookings and its no wonder D2s and D1 FCS schools are all over this kid and I certainly see more FCS attention coming his way soon as you can also never go wrong with a good sized 6'1 180 pound safety that has a huge coverage blanket and physicality thru the roof.

Another Oklahoma prospect that made a splash up in Brookings was 2025 running back [player_tooltip player_id='294264' first='Felix' last='Teal'] of Laverne. What I had written down in my notepad when I stood next to his broad jump was "longgg jump," finding out later that Felix was one of the only running backs that jumped over 10 feet in the broad jump which I wish I would have known how long that was sooner! Man, did I love watching this kid's instincts pop out in Indy Drills, as Felix's agile movement could be seen from a ways out as he also showed off elusive vision which eye tested similar on tape. I also loved finding out per our PRZ Oklahoma site that this kid is an 8-man star in Oklahoma. It is wild to me still how under the radar Felix is on his recruiting trail, as I would have offered this kid at camp if I was was a college coach in attendance.
