Stevens has a unique skill set in that he’s a budding pass-rusher, but when he moves off the ball, he’s at his best in coverage. We currently have him listed as a linebacker, but a move to edge in our system isn’t out of the question. Either way, he has an athletic profile and physicality that should have FBS schools flocking to Christ School to see.

Stevens transferred into Christ School with the new coaching staff and we’ve been told fantastic things about the huge linebacker. He can play multiple positions off the ball, but he’s at his best when he’s manning the middle and reading the offense. He dominated at our Prep Redzone Virginia Combine and he’s in prime position to be an FBS prospect

Stevens is a stud and he looks like a high caliber linebacker that will be playing in the FCS or higher next fall. He is 6’3 and 225 lbs. with room to grow you could tell early on

Stevens will be one of my most interesting prospects at the event. He has good production and is a versatile piece for Blue Ridge. He has a good understanding of defensive hand placement and can win inside and outside. I want to get a better understanding of his true athleticism in person, and will be watching closely as he goes through drills.

Linkin has unlimited potential as a pass rusher. His physical profile – encompassing speed, size, and notable arm length – presents a compelling foundation for success in this role. He displays adaptability, effectively transitioning between edge rusher and off-the-ball linebacker positions. While his current pass-rush technique repertoire could benefit from expansion, his exceptional reach and explosive first step consistently overcome offensive linemen. His youth and athleticism indicate substantial room for growth and refinement of his pass-rushing skills. Linken’s impact extends beyond rushing the passer. He consistently disrupts opposing offenses, contributing significantly through tackles for loss, sacks, and effective kick blocking. His dedication and reliability are also evident in his contributions to special teams, including duties as a long snapper and a member of the hands team. Overall, he demonstrates a strong potential for significant contributions to the team.

A speed-rush Edge defender with very good height and frame. Good athletic ability with very good explosiveness, good foot quickness, lateral agility, change of direction, flexibility, foot speed, acceleration, and balance. Good upfield burst, with a quick step that gains leverage against Tackles. Good outside speed rush forcing tackles to turn their shoulders while bending around them with a rip move and cornering to the QB. Very good inside counter move after setting up the outside rush with very good closing speed on the QB. Good pass rush finish, putting pressure on the QB, and good grip strength to make a sack. Good versus the run with good use of hands to engage linemen and shed the block. Good lateral movement to defend the run down the line of scrimmage with solid ability to set the edge. Overall, a good prospect who has a lot of upside to his game as an Edge Rusher as he develops his strength and mass which will allow him to play with more power alongside his speed.

The state champion Edge rushing OLB came in and showcased his skills rushing the passer. He is quick with speed, proving to be a difficult rusher to get hands on in pass protection. When you turn on his season highlights from this past year, that is exactly what you see. Only a sophomore this past year, so we get to see two more years of development, and I am excited to see where he goes.
