, a running back at Tullahoma Middle School. Chapin was one of the stronger eighth grade prospects to attend as he impressed me during both the testing period and during positional competition. This rising talent out of the Tullahoma area displayed excellent size, speed, and footwork on all of his reps and should be on everyone’s radar as he continues to improve.

impressed with his polish and football awareness throughout the event. He ran drills with purpose, displaying strong footwork and an understanding of pacing through each rep. Chapin was reliable in RB/LB 1-on-1s, catching the ball cleanly and transitioning upfield without hesitation. He showed toughness and balance when challenged in space, absorbing contact while maintaining forward momentum. In the make-the-linebacker-miss drill, Chapin used controlled cuts rather than wasted movement to win. His consistency stood out, as he stacked quality reps across multiple segments of the camp. Chapin proved he’s a dependable, well-rounded back who can be trusted in multiple situations.

The starter at Running Back for the 7th Grade Tennessee Future Stars, Chapin got the first carry of the game and was a consistent plus throughout the day. Despite the aerial assault offense, Chapin ran tough and broke tackles (and ankles) from the first quarter to the last.
Speaking of the last quarter, Chapin saved his most impressive run for late in the game. Facing a 2nd-and-7 on Tennessee’s own 17-yard line, Chapin took a handoff and appeared to be tackled, however there was no whistle. He continued to play and managed to rip off a nearly 20-yard run for a Tennessee first down. That play personified the balance and intelligence he displayed all game long.

and Tullahoma Middle School left little doubt in people’s minds what the future holds in Coffee County. Chapin was the only 2030 prospect from Tullahoma to be named an All-Conference player, but when you look at his stats from this season and how he impacted the game in all three phases, it’s not hard to see why he earned the honor. Offensively, he carried the ball 105 times for 859 yards and a dozen touchdowns. He also added 6 receptions for 127 yards & a pair of Touchdowns. Defensively he notched an interception, 11 tackles, 4 forced fumbles. All in all, he gained 1,130 all-purpose yards and 15 total touchdowns (including a kick return for a TD).
