I think in this offense, Hall could have a big season. With his speed and vision, the misdirection elements will give him a chance to get into the open field and do some special things. Hall looked fast and quick on his feet, and I think he will have some opportunities to catch the ball off some actions in this offense as well.
Hall is a smaller back with plenty of explosive qualities and the ability to make defenders miss in tight spaces. His wiggle and lateral movement skills make it difficult for defenders to square him up, and thus he takes few big hits. He’s a capable pass-catcher, and if he gets space, he could be off to the races.
Caylen, or “Juice” as many people call him, showed some juice in every phase of the showcase, but he was really good in the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase. This showcase really featured the passing game because of the number of quarterbacks in attendance, and Juice won a lot of reps in the passing game against linebackers, using very good speed and excellent footwork on his routes. I’m excited to see how he develops this offseason physically to take on a bigger workload in the offense next season.
