QB’s
There are 3 quarterbacks for Team New York City and we’ll start with Jakhi Plasime. Fresh off of a 2A title with South Shore, I’m excited to see what Plasime has in store. He isn’t the biggest quarterback, but he threw the ball all over the defenses he faced last season. Looking forward to seeing how he does against elevated competition this summer and next fall. Joining him will be

from St Francis Prep. Zullo was second in passing yards in the AA-1 division of the catholic league. He threw for 1,191 yards and 10 touchdowns. The final quarterback on the list is
Aidan Farley

. The QB from Fort Hamilton had a successful junior season. The PSAL website had him as the leader out of all divisions in passing yards and touchdowns. He helped lead Fort Hamilton to a playoff appearance in the 3A division.
RB’s
This is a scary group for New York City. It all starts with Richard Pacheco, who’s one of the state’s top prospects. Pacheco already has collected multiple FBS offers. The talented RB from Moore Catholic always seems to put on a show. A rule was implemented into this game that each team can use one sophomore if they like. Team Long Island didn’t elect to do that but Team New York City did. Their 2026 prospect is
Travis Gamble

from A. Phillip Randolph. Gamble was one of the top sophomores in New York last season and is a must-watch player. And finally, we have Daniel Germain from Canarsie. The Wolfpack are destined to have a bounce-back season in the 4A division and Germain will be a big part of it. I’m excited to see how his offseason shapes up.
WR’s
Similar to team Long Island, the boys from New York City also have a talented WR corps. It starts with
Steven Dowdy Jr

from Iona Prep. The elite receiver for the Gaels tore up the AAA division as a junior. He led the league with 11 touchdowns and had 946 yards receiving. Also from the catholic league, Conor Molen from Xaverian is someone to keep an eye on. He showed a ton of flashes during his junior season, he is in for a breakout season with Xaverian. Over in the Bronx,
Pedro Pinero

put himself on the map last season. He played a huge role in a prolific offense over there at DeWitt Clinton. Pinero was one of the fastest players in the 3A division. He is a big-time deep threat, and look out for him to make plays when he has space. Team NYC has a newcomer on offense, as
Tyjeh Schulters

has moved down here from North Carolina. Schulters will play for South Shore in the fall and they got a real athlete. He’s not the biggest but Schulters is explosive. He’s looked great in 7v7s but I’m intrigued to see how he does with the pads on in a “real game” scenario. Also in this crew is
Elijah Thompson

from Eagle Academy in Queens. Thompson was electrifying as a running back for Eagle Academy. He had great cuts and a quick change of direction to constantly make defenders miss in the open field. Whether they put him at RB or WR, Thompson will be a player to watch. The last wide receiver is Jonathan Nguyen from St Francis Prep. Last season he was a great third option in a good passing offense. He will be the number-one option for Thomas Zullo next season. He will be dangerous as a slot receiver in this game and has proven he can make plays after the catch.
OL
Now we head into the trenches, where two Tottenville linemen are in this group. Michael Trinidad had a huge junior season. At 6’3 and 275 pounds, Trinidad was a machine last season, he showed a lot of power and moved well. He helped Tottenville have one of the most dangerous running attacks in the state. His teammate
Cyrus Cardona

will also be playing for Team NYC. Cardona made his presence felt with a very successful first season in the PSAL. Cardona is one of the top center prospects in the state for the class of 2025. South Shore’s Jeremiah “Pancakes” Pope is another lineman you have to watch. He made a name for himself with a monster junior season. He was arguably the top lineman in the PSAL 2A division last season. Another solid lineman from the 2A division last year was
Roddrick Vivieca

. He helped A. Phillip Randolph run wild last season. I’m excited to see how he does against a strong group of defensive linemen from Long Island. In the PSAL 3A, Boys and Girls took home the championship. Sonny Cordova and Jordan Gonzalez both helped anchor their offensive line to dominant performances in the postseason. Their run-blocking ability will be on full display. From Eagle Academy in Brooklyn, Julian and
