Stevens is a snappy inside player that gets off the ball quickly, shoots his hands and locks out while able to get off blocks with violence, eat up double teams and get into the backfield in a hurry. He shows block recognition, has quick pre-snap movement and uses his height to out leverage blockers while getting underneath them and creating immediate knock-back. Offensively, he snaps out of his stance and can easily win against speed rushers with quick feet, lateral movement abilities and good body control when creating a pocket. He knows when to drop and anchor, while using his hands and violence punch to get defenders hands down quickly in their rush. When blocking at the second level, he does a nice job at taking the proper angles to linebackers and can sustain blocks downfield while finishing with nasty intentions. Defensively, he is a long pass rusher that covers a ton of ground off the ball, shows some closing speed around the edge and will only continue to improve upon his strike and short area twitch/movement abilities and using his length to his advantage. Offensively from his tight end position, he is a big target with a good catch radius, strong hands in traffic and does a nice job at using his size to box out smaller defenders and make plays on the ball while getting up-field quickly after the catch.
