About Dane

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a competitive person. I will do what the team or coaches need me to do to have a chance to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to think I stay pretty calm under pressure. Take the time and assess the situation that we are in and plan accordingly. Off the field I am a pretty laid back person.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No. Playing three sports sometimes it is hard to have time for other activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am not a very vocal person. I try to lead by example and my playing style. I try to lead and get other teammates together and put extra work when we can. I try to volunteer in the community when I can.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a foot injury in which I had to have surgery on my Sophmore year. I had to play through pain that season. I had the surgery in the off season. I had to find a way to play through pain and then the rehab in the off season.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that I can be sucessful at as far as my academics. Possibly play football and run track,.

As a junior last season, Hanson threw for three touchdowns, ran for three more, had a two-point conversion and caught a 16-yard pass. He delivered seven solo tackles as a defensive back. The talents are present for a breakout 2025. Hanson’s junior highlight video captures his athleticism and versatility. They shine through with him lining up at receiver, where he runs crisp routes. His speed puts defensive backs on their heels, and he has the size to win contested throws. Hanson’s skills also play on defense as a safety/linebacker-type hybrid.
