Mortensen has good size for an interior lineman and he possesses good strength and physicality while occupying space and forcing double teams. He is a good mover and finds ways to shed blocks and get into the backfield. Mortensen is a good interior rusher and can bring pressure up the middle to flush the Quarterback out of the pocket. He is a player that should get looks in recruiting as he brings nice traits as an interior defensive lineman.
