Thacker carried the ball 59 times for 481 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this past season. He is a strong runner, showing the ability to lower his shoulder and keep his legs churning through contact to break tackles with ease. Thacker has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Brayden also caught one touchdown pass as a sophomore and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 42 tackles, one tackle for loss, and a team-high three interceptions. Thacker will be a player with paying close attention to going into his junior season.

Thacker is a strong back with a good frame who runs with power. He keeps a solid pad level and can run through defenders, picking up yards after contact. He was efficient on his reps last year, totaling 476 yards on 58 carries for 8.2 yards per carry and 2 TDs. He also added 4 catches for 34 yards, showing he can be used in the passing game as well. I like the efficiency he showed, and he’s a back who can carve out a bigger role with more touches.

His efficiency really stood out in a limited workload, making the most of his touches and producing at a high level. He averaged 8 yards per carry last season, totaling 476 yards and 2 TDs. There’s enough there for me to see a back who could handle an expanded role moving forward.
