Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
Our number 1 defensive back in the 2025 class initially committed to Clemson University, but Jordan then flipped his commitment to the University of Michigan, and he will play as a Wolverine next season on the college level. Jordan will be a major factor as usual in this game, as Brevard will run it a good bit offensively. His run support from the secondary will help limit good plays becoming big plays. Offensively, when they need a big play, expect the ball to show up in Jordan’s hands.

One of the best two-way players in the state, Young has five interceptions for Monroe this season, in addition to a fumble recovery and six pass deflections. Young’s athleticism is off the charts, but he does an excellent job of mirroring receivers in coverage as well. Young has 17 interceptions in his career and has helped Monroe out to an 8-0 record and will look to help take them to a championship game.

Read EvaluationWill Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
Young is a true athlete in every sense of the word, averaging 24 yards a reception and picking off three passes so far this year. On offense, he primarily wins with athleticism and speed, but defensively, he plays with excellent leverage and technique. He’s a willing tackler and can play either corner or safety. He”s a deployable chess piece and whatever school he chooses when he announces in early November will be very excited to use him defensively.
