As a passer, he drops to his spot in the pocket quickly and makes good decisions with the ball. He has the arm strength to deliver strikes on the short and intermediate throws with good timing. Spencer is a really good athlete who led Capo Valley in receiving last season but draws attention from colleges as a quarterback.
He has a very good arm and can fit the ball into tight windows. Spencer goes through his progressions well and can extend plays with his legs. He appears to be finally getting the reins as the team’s starting quarterback and should have a big year.

The talented sophomore also threw a 59-yard touchdown pass.
