Weaver is a long and rangy outside playmaker that is physical with the ball in his hands and can get open downfield with good speed, a big catch radius and has strong hands/tracking abilities over the top. He shows he can make defenders miss in space and take fly sweeps/balls from the backfield and make plays from anywhere on the field. He is another prospect that has been flying under the radar to this point, but has plenty of intriguing tools and upside at the next level and will be another late steal for a college program and is a name to keep an eye on as we move closer to the first and second national signing days. Through the mid-point of the season he has put up 275 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns with 1 INT.

Weaver is a play-maker from his slot position, and does a nice job getting open downfield, creating separation and has excellent tracking abilities over the top. He is a patient route runner that is quick in and out of his breaks, can get into defenders blind spots before breaking off his route and can run a variety of both in breaking and out breaking routes at the second and third level. He also shows he can make tacklers miss after the catch with short area twitch and is a strong runner with the ball in his hands, breaking arm and ankle tackles while forcing defenders to take poor angles. Weaver is without a doubt a candidate to enter into our rankings in the next update and get off the Watch List.

Weaver is one of the top players across the 4-A level in Idaho, and is an elite route runner with natural hands, high-point abilities and can make contested catches over multiple defenders. He stacks his routes well, gets in the blind spots of defenders before breaking off and has a true downfield burst after the catch. He shows he can make off-platform catches from various body angles and is twitchy after the catch with the ball in his hands. He is a no-brainer to enter into our rankings in the next update and should draw plenty of D3+ interest through his Senior season.
