Rea is your prototype dual threat quarterback that is able to hurt you with both his legs and his arm. Rea shows good poise in the pocket for a freshman with the ability to make some big time throws. Excels in the quick passing game where his compact release allows him to get the ball out quickly. Has good touch on his deep ball throws really giving his receivers a chance to make a play on the football. His footwork is ever improving as he navigates the pocket and gives himself a chance to throw the football. Shows toughness in the pocket and isn’t afraid of the spotlight as he played in seven games at quarterback for Filer this season. Should be one to watch in the years to come

Weaver has good speed that allows him to be a dynamic threat down the field for Filer. Strong pass catching hands that give him the ability to pluck the football out of the air. A real 50/50 ball threat as he can really climb the ladder to high point over defenders. Shows good awareness of where defenders are going to be at such a young age. As he grow his route running will be more complete as right now he is limited to just a few routes in the passing tree. Where he is going to excel is if he is able to really master his releases off of press coverage. He is an exciting prospect already at 5’10” with a frame that will hold more weight and strength.
Gavin Griesemer
Gavin Griesemer
Griesemer is already a presence as a freshman coming in at 6’2”. As a linebacker he shows a real knack for finding the football. He is also a player that makes the most out of his opportunities, when he was asked to make a play he did for Priest River. Shows strong instincts to diagnose plays and react to what is in front of him. Has a strong punch that allows him to create seperation from blockers and has the ability to slip pullers along with down blocks. Finishes violently at the point of attack and you can see that he like contact. Is improving in his ability to cover the pass and if he makes that jump he will be a complete linebacker. A solid tackler in space and in the box he is going to be one to watch as he continues to grow.
