Marchand is a big receiver measuring in at 6’4 195-pounds. This previous season, he had 39 receptions for 734 yards with 12 touchdowns. Marchand displays very good athleticism due to his very good jumping, acceleration, change of direction, and speed. Very good release at the line of scrimmage. Doesn’t matter if it’s off coverage or press jam, Marchand is creating separation at the LOS. Very good separation quickness. He’ll out run the receiver with his burners, fight through contact from scrappy DBs, or find open voids to exploit. Very good ball tracking and catching. He’s a contested catch specialist. Marchand jumps up, high pointing the ball and coming down with the catch. Strong hands. Marchand also excels at gaining yards after the catch. Uses his speed and strength to bruise through defenders for extra yards. I would not be surprised if he goes over 1000 yards this upcoming season.

He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and speed. Very good release at the line of scrimmage, consistently beating the DB no matter in off-coverage or the press jam. Does a great job to create separation during his route. He’ll fight through contact, out run the receiver, or exploit a zone void. During the QB scramble drill, he comes back and makes himself an easy option. Very good catching and ball tracking. Very good body control and adjustment. He excels at contested catches. Strong hands to rip the ball out of the air. After the catch, he’ll use a stiff arm to gain extra yardage or use his speed to blaze past all levels of the defense. He’s a prime candidate for a thousand-yard season.

Marchand has shown what it takes to be a #1 receiver this season with Legend. The 6’4 185-pound junior leads his team with 18 receptions for 278 yards and 5 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, jumping, change of direction, and good speed. Very good release at the line of scrimmage. He attacks the DB and uses his physicality to win through the route at as well. Good separation quickness due to his mental processing and play strength. He’ll find open voids in the zone and exploit them. Very good body control and adjustment. Marchand is very good at contested catches. Very good ball tracking and catching. Plucks the ball out of the air with ease. After the catch, he uses his good strength to stiff arm defenders or his very good change of direction to juke defenders out. I’m glad to see him thriving in this new Legend offense. He already has matched his receptions and surpassed his TDs from last year.

Marchand is the number 1 receiver for Legend, and with good reason. He is a big body possession receiver who wins contested catches. He measures in at 6’4 185 pounds. Last season, he had 18 receptions for 345 yards and 4 touchdowns. Since Legend is going more into the pass game direction, Marchand will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his game. He has very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, change of direction, and good speed. He has very good release at the line of scrimmage against both press jam and off coverage. Uses his physicality against the DB. Good separation quickness. Even with his size, he’s a fluid route runner. Very good ball tracking and catching. One thing about Marchand, is he consistently comes down with the contested catch. Very good body adjustment and control. After the catch, he isn’t afraid of trucking defenders. I’m very excited to see how he does in this new offense !

Marchand is another big body receiver measuring in at 6’4 185-pounds. He’s a big target for Legend’s new QB DJ Bordeaux! He had 18 receptions for 345 yard and 4 touchdowns. Marchand has very good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, change of direction, and good speed. Very good release at the line of scrimmage. He consistently beats his man in man coverage. Good separation quickness. Marchand uses quick cuts to get open. Very good ball tracking and catching. He comes down with the 50/50 balls. Even when there’s not a lot of separation between Marchand and the defender, he still comes down with the catch. Marchand adjusts to the ball thrown in flight, and contorts his body to make the catch. He’s slippery out in space, easily breaking tackles. He’s a fluid receiver combined with very good size and strength. I expect Marchand to feast with the ball in his hands more.
