Oregon 6A All State 1st & 2nd Team OFFENSE + POY's

The Oregon 6A all-state team is structured to highlight those individuals who were the most valuable on their individual teams. It is NOT a list with just the top recruits. Instead of honorable mention picks you will see extended 1st & 2nd team selections. Also referenced will be the Offensive & Defensive POY rankings.    Please note that this is not an all-conference breakdown, so it will be much more difficult to make this team when incorporating the entire state. 5A will be up next. His recent 300+ yard 4 TD performance versus Sherwood was one of the more impressive playoff outings ever. Even more telling was his play on D throughout year where he was absolutely dominant, at times shutting down one side of the field by himself for the T-Wolves.   [player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] left no doubt when talking on the state's Offensive MVP. The 3x Mt Hood POY is the epitome of a winner accounting for 42 TDs (30 passing, 12 rushing) and only 4 INTs heading into the state title game with Tualatin. For his career he has accounted for 116 touchdowns (93 passing, 23 rushing) and only 10 interceptions. He will look to lead his team to another state championship this weekend.   QB's [player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] will return as Oregon's top junior's next season. Gilroy went for over 3000 yards passing with 28 TDs/6 INTs heading into the semis. Keeney had an unreal performance against Sherwood passing for over 400 yards and 6 TDs, helping the team to the state title game. He has upped his stock significantly since returning from injury.    Much like Fortier, TRL Offensive POY [player_tooltip player_id='152336' first='Gus' last='Donnerberg'] was lights out on both sides of the football. Expect the Idaho commit to be one of the best players in the Big Sky.    Jesuit RB [player_tooltip player_id='152333' first='Lonnie' last='Burt'] Jr. was named the Metro League Player of the Year on both sides of the football. A feat rarely accomplished by any athletes at the 6A level. Sophomore back [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] had a breakout season going for over 1100 yards and 11 TD's, to go with zero fumbles for Lake O.  [player_tooltip player_id='206869' first='Jamahl' last='Wilson'] had an outstanding year leading the state statistically from his RB spot, although against subpar competition.    The state's slot receivers were exceptional this season. Esteban Menedez shattered school records at South Salem becoming the Saxons all time receiving leader. Junior ATH's [player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='511878' first='D'Marieon' last='Gates'] will return next season as legit prospects, with Wideman earning unanimous TRL 1st team accolades and Gates being listed as one of the fastest rising two-way threats in the NW.    From a WR standpoint, the 6-4 Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1094734' first='Landon' last='Kelsey'] will jump way up the 2025 rankings board after transferring from a 2A Washington school. Colorado St commit [player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] had two more TDs against Sherwood and will go down as one the state's most versatile athletes. 6-5 USC commit [player_tooltip player_id='152356' first='Joey' last='Olsen'] had an impressive 2nd half of the year finishing with 11 TDs.    Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] is already known as one of Oregon's top athletes for 2026, earning 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football. He was hands down one of the most impressive kids in the state.    Oregon commit [player_tooltip player_id='738683' first='Trent' last='Ferguson'] and Oregon St commit [player_tooltip player_id='206860' first='Terrell' last='Kim'] could both play early on the line for the Ducks and Beavers. 6-5 [player_tooltip player_id='406759' first='Zac' last='Stascausky'] and 6-4 285-pound OL [player_tooltip player_id='406756' first='Jake' last='Normoyle'] will both be big time D1 kids, and rank at the top charts for the 2025 class.   Last but definitely not least I can't say enough good things about Central Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='206848' first='Matix' last='Carpenter']. He will be Oregon's only 1st team all-state lineman on both sides of the ball.
