He mainly lines up at safety but has shown the versatility to play both in the nickel and on the outside at corner as well. Davis has great recognition skills, showing the ability to read routes with ease then flow through the secondary to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball is thrown in his direction, he has shown good ball skills, finishing his sophomore year with two interceptions and multiple pass breakups in 13 games. He also recorded 45 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and half a sack this past season, and made a huge impact on offense, catching 32 passes for 593 yards and six touchdowns. Davis is a player who I expect to be on the radar of a lot of college coaches heading into his junior year.

He is very impressive in man coverage, showing the ability to use his physicality to jam and redirect opposing receivers then use his speed to mirror them. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown the ability to break with perfect timing to make a play. Davis doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep a close eye on over the next few years.

Davis was one of the standouts among the defensive backs, truly standing out in man coverage. He plays with a ton of physicality, showing the ability to jam and redirect receivers off the line of scrimmage. Davis has also shown the speed to mirror receivers’ routes and then the reaction ability to fight across their body to make a play when the ball is thrown his way. Andrew should be an intriguing prospect to continue to watch over the next few seasons.

Davis played with a ton of physicality, showing the ability to jam receivers at the beginning of their routes with ease. He did a great job of continuing to run with them to mirror their routes and when the ball was thrown his way, he was able to fight across the receivers face to make a play. Andrew should be a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons as he continues to develop.
