How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Garrett plays both defensive and offensive line at BGJHS with intensity and a relentless work ethic. On defense, he’s aggressive, using strong hand techniques to control blockers and quickly locate the ball. On offense, he’s known for opening up gaps and creating opportunities for his team. His physicality, combined with his ability to read the game, makes him a formidable presence on both sides.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Garrett’s mentality is all about hard work, discipline, and perseverance. He brings a fierce competitive spirit to the field and never shies away from a challenge. Off the field, he’s humble, focused, and driven, with a strong sense of responsibility toward his team, school, and caring for his dog Titan. He’s always pushing himself to improve, both athletically and academically.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Garrett is an active participant in the Black Male Scholar Program at Bowling Green Junior High School and takes all advanced classes. He’s maintained honor roll status and is a member of the Junior Beta Club. Additionally, Garrett has received the Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award from Jonesville Academy for his community service work. He’s also a committed member of Victory Hill Church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Garrett has developed strong leadership skills through his involvement in sports, academics, and community service. His teamwork abilities are showcased both on the football field and the basketball court, where he communicates effectively with his teammates and plays selflessly. His community service includes mentoring and working alongside his peers, and he’s always looking for ways to give back

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Garrett has faced the challenge of balancing his demanding athletic schedule with maintaining high academic standards and caring for his dog Titan. Despite these challenges, he remains dedicated to both his personal growth and his commitment to his team. His ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and maintain success in all areas is a testament to his time management and determination.

What type of college are you looking for?

Garrett has always been an Alabama fan. He wants to join a program that values hard work, discipline, and teamwork, while offering strong academic support and opportunities for growth. He’s interested in a school that will allow him to continue developing as an athlete, while also preparing him for a successful career in his future endeavors.
