Cam Allen Cam Allen 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Chaparral | 2027 State AZ , QB, Central ’27
The freshman introduced himself to the state and caught the eye of many from his performance last week. Allen threw for 355 yards and 6 TD’s to lead central to a blowout 62-14 win over Fairfax. Not to mention, he played just 2 quarters in the blowout win, and we’ll all love to see more of this kid moving forward.
Breylon Blount Breylon Blount 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Hamilton | 2024 State AZ , RB, Hamilton ’24
Blount was a gamechanger for Hamilton last week on their 37-17 win over Casteel. He carried the rock just 12 times but busted loose for 200 yards and a TD while racking up 3 catches for 32 yards and a TD. Blount displayed excellent vision while identifying narrow developing lanes and showed a nice burst upfield to get vertical with a purpose. He showed the ability to finish off big plays as well with solid top end speed in the second level, and seems to have a great understanding of levels, as he did a great job bouncing runs toward the numbers when h crosses the box to give himself more room to work.
Adam Mohammed Adam Mohammed 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Apollo | 2024 State AZ , ATH, Apollo ’24
Mohammed’s impressive season continues, as he was able to be a gamechanger on both sides of the ball to help secure a 49-7 win over Willow Canyon. Offensively, Mohammed only carried the ball 5 times but went off for 116 yards and 4 TD’s, and also made a differences in the pass game as he caught a 49 yard TD as well. On defense, Mohammed recorded a pick six to finish his night with a 6 total TD game, scoring 6 out of Apollo’s 7 TD’s on the night. When he has the ball, you hold your breath every time because you know he is prone to make a special play and take it to the house given his speed, vision, and change of direction. A huge game for one of the top RB’s in the state.
Junior St. Cyr Junior St. Cyr 5'10" | 210 lbs | RB Mesa | 2024 State AZ , RB, Mesa ’24
St. Cyr has really put himself on the map this season and continued to see that productivity explode again this past week as he rushed for 258 yards and 3 TD’s on 22 carries. St. Cyr has proven every week to have that workhorse ability within that 5’10” 210lb frame and possesses excellent strength at the point of contact with good balance to frequently bounce off or run through tackles. Physical back with good lateral vision to break through initial contact and find ways to get outside and create separation to get more yards. He’s having a great year and could be a huge gem for whichever school he ends up at.
Cooper Perry Cooper Perry 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Notre Dame | 2025 State AZ , WR, Notre Dame Prep
One of the highest recruited kids in AZ popped off again and continued to prove why he’s an elite player. Perry racked up 10 catches for 192 yards and 2 TD’s on a fairly close 32-21 win over Cactus Shadows. Perry is a clear difference maker and has been each week thus far, and has proven over and over again that he can change the direction of the game on any touch. He has so many tools that make him a giant mismatch at the high school level, as he can burn defenses with speed, over the top to win contested catches, or with physicality across the middle. Just a flat out impressive player that continues to kill defenses.
