With his size and skill set, he was even taking direct snaps as a quarterback earlier this seasonrnrn- Playing for the BIG 215 Extreme 13U squad out of the Philadelphia area during the regular season and should have his pick of high school's to choose from, when it comes to the next four years","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["302362"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"- Having a front seat to watching Kern develop throughout his middle school career has been a very fun ridernrn- Now just a bad haircut short 6-foot-4 and a cheese burger away from 220-pounds, he has tacked on two inches and at least 20 pounds in each of the previous two off-seasonsrnrn- His quickness off the snap on both sides of the ball is the thing that has improved the most dramatically. He's morphed from from a long kid with some potential to a bonafide top tier prospect with size and quickness in this 2028 classrnrn- In a previous write up about him, nearly a year ago, I noted his room for improvement on strength and general physicality. He has started to turn that corner and is playing a much more physical brand of football in 2023. Offense has more than a few designed runs for him to keep the chains moving in short yardage situationsrnrn- Throws a pretty deep ball right now, though it can float on him at times.
