IL – Top Performers of Week 7 (Defensive Edition)

With so many outstanding defensive performances from this past weekend it was only right to drop the Defensive Edition! He is a big impressive athlete at 6'4 295 that can move. Franklin has been impactful at the guard position this year opening up holes but on Friday he made some noise on defense. He had a pair of fumble recoveries with one of them being recovered in the endzone. He has great instincts and he was able to trust those instincts on Friday night. He showed up big time for his defense intercepting the quarterback twice. They have a roster littered with D1 players and house hold names among college coaches. However, last Friday Thomas Mulder made the biggest impact in their game against Rolling Meadows. The 5'10 Junior defensive tackle recorded an interception off a screen pass as well a fumble recovery he took 70 yards to the HOUSE! Last Friday against Dunlap the same was true as their defense set the tone with a bunch of turnovers and defensive touchdowns.
