The Buckeyes defense did not disappoint by shutting out the #7 nationally ranked Heat. They only lined up three d-lineman in an odd front to give extra bodies to the passing game. However pressure was brought strategically throughout the game with success up the middle and mostly outside from the linebackers. Any offense would struggle with the depth and skill this team possesses.

Deep pass break ups was the norm and Williams tackles well in space. A few times the running backs bounced to his side only to get chopped down once he realize it was a committed run play.
