Recent MD/DC/DE Recruiting Updates

I take a look at some recruiting news over the last week. From first offers, commitments, and recruits finally getting on to college radars. Recruiting for all classes will start to pick up as the season winds down and this may have been the first wave.

Kenny has a strong showing at QB all season long as he leads Seneca Valley into the playoffs this week as a 3 seed in their region. Colleges have started to take notice as in the last week Kenny picked up offers from Shenandoah and West Virginia Wesleyan. Kenny is a mobile QB who has good pocket movement and throws well on the run. He can also push it down field throwing a pretty and catchable deep ball, allowing his receivers to catch it in stride for big plays. Look for more D2/D3 schools to show interest in Kenny over the next month as he looks to post some good postseason numbers.

after a great discussion with coach @S_Hodgin i'm blessed to receive my first offer from @SUhornetsFB #AGTG #blessed @CoachQ_SV https://t.co/aWM7mGJF46
— [player_tooltip player_id='2092205' first='Kenny' last='Lennon'] (@KennyLennon5) October 26, 2026

Kevin picked up his first P4 offer and first offer overall this past week from Duke Univ. during his visit on campus. He is a LB I've been high on since seeing him this past spring and early in the fall season. Kevin plays mainly ILB and plays it fast, physical, and violent. Blows up blocks and will strike through the ball carrier. Can get sideline to sideline and is a good athlete for the position. He has the size/frame and brings the energy on the field. No surprise he picked up a P4 offer and I see many more offers coming Kevin's way this upcoming off season.

First, All glory to God! Siaki is a big play WR who mainly operates out of the slot. A strong route runner, he is able to push vertical, stem his routes and make quick sharp breaks with his nice twitch & shifty feet. He can make plays across all three levels of the passing game and offer nice run after catch threat. Bryant secured a nice commitment from WR who will surely add some nice playmaking ability to their offense in the future.

100% Committed!!!🐶 #letsGoDawgs https://t.co/Fua8zXsjUX
— 2⭐️ WR Siaki Young “27” (@1on1_siaki84) October 28, 2026

Michael's recruitment has started to really take off in the last week. Picking up offers from Army, VMI, Air Force, and Central State, bringing him to 6 total offers. He has lead Mervo to an 8-1 record this year and the #1 seed in their region headed into the playoffs. A true dual threat QB, Michael is a playmaker with his arm and legs. He is a big time athlete with speed, twitch, and elusiveness running the ball in both designed QB runs and scrambles. Also possesses solid arm strength able to get the ball downfield over the top of defenses. Look for Michael to be a big part of a deep Mervo playoff run generating even more attention from colleges.

After a great conversation with @CoachASmith3 I am blessed to say that I have received an offer from Army!! #AGTG @CoachJeffMonken @Coach_Worley https://t.co/nqtxoAbFL9
— [player_tooltip player_id='1683787' first='Michael' last='Griffin Jr'] (@mikeygriffinjr1) October 29, 2026

Kawika is a big OL prospect that just picked up his first offer from Morehouse College this past week. He's put together a strong season at OG for SJC this fall. A mauler in the trenches, Kawika has plenty of size and strength. Able to move defenders at the LOS and bury them. He finishes blocks and uses his size and physicality to create nice open running lanes. Kawika has the potential to be a dominant presence in the IOL as he continues to develop and add good bulk muscle to his frame. This certainly won't be his only offer as I see Kawika getting plenty of P4/FBS/FCS interest over the next year.

VERY blessed to receive my first offer from MoreHouse College!
