6A

#15 Oregon City @ #1 Lake Oswego -44 (Lake O 55 Oregon City 10)

I still have OC ranked in the top 15, but the 49-7 loss to Nelson was telling a few weeks ago. LO is rested after a bye and should be dominant.

#3 West Linn -3.5 @ #4 Tualatin (Tualatin 27 West Linn 26)

The injuries for West Linn are what makes this game so tough to call. The key to me will be Tualatin's line showing up and the play of junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1614894' first='Lincoln' last='Keeney']. If he plays well and doesn't turn the ball over, I could see the T-Wolves winning a nail-biter.

#10 Sheldon @ #5 Grants Pass -7 (Grants Pass 30 Sheldon 20)

As we talked about on the podcast the Irish are playing as well as anybody in the state, but this will be a different kind of test against a top 5 team in a very hostile environment. I like GP to cover the spread with Sheldon keeping the game close until the end.

North Medford @ #6 Willamette -18 (Willamette 44 North Medford 21)

Willamette is now playing good football after dropping their first two games of the year to the reigning 6A/5A champions in Lake O & Silverton. I have respect for their schedule with the last three games of the year being against #5 Grants Pass, #2 5A Summit, and #10 Sheldon. This is a big game if North Medford wants to get back on track. I like [player_tooltip player_id='2127746' first='Jonny' last='Jenkins'] to have a big night with the Wolverines continuing to make a statement.

#7 Sherwood -26.5 @ South Medford (Sherwood 41 South Medford 19)

South Medford got their first win of the year last week 41-6 against a North Salem team which isn't terrible. Sherwood left no doubt in the 45-0 win over Sunset last Friday. I would expect [player_tooltip player_id='1591725' first='Mikey' last='Brandt'] to be double teamed all night.

#8 Lakeridge -12 @ Tigard (Lakeridge 33 Tigard 24)

This is an incredibly interesting game to me. For Tigard, the 39-35 loss to Milwaukie is brutal and absolutely telling if we are talking about competing in the TRL. As mentioned on the pod, it will be important for the Pacers to come out and win by a couple of scores if they want to make a statement and show the big boys in the Three Rivers League they can compete this year.

#12 Westview @ #9 Mountainside -2 (Mountainside 21 Westview 20)

Westview has an experienced and talented D that shut out West Salem 14-0 last week. Can they contain [player_tooltip player_id='1125493' first='Reece' last='Ballew'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2054683' first='Toren' last='Drucker'] is the question. If so, they could squeak out a win, but that's easier said than done.

Sprague @ #15 West Salem -2.5 (West Salem 24 Sprague 20)

The Valley conference is up for grabs. Sprague has gotten crushed the last few weeks and West Salem lost to Westview after a quality win over North Medford. I like the Titans in a close one here.

5A

#1 Silverton -39 @ #14 Lebanon (Silverton 51 Lebanon 10)

Lebanon is a decent 5A team but Silverton is back on track and playing like a reigning state champ.

#2 Summit -3.5 @ #7 Ridgeview (Summit 26 Ridgeview 23)

Summit has been super impressive the last few weeks with a 24-7 win over #4 Mountain View and 42-0 win over Redmond. Ridgeview has been equally impressive, making this game all the more intriguing. This would be a program changing win for the Ravens if they could somehow pull it out. Dual sport standout [player_tooltip player_id='1593171' first='Finn' last='Chambers'] is having a 1st team all-state season.

Crook County @ #4 Mt View -29 (Mountain View 38 Crook County 14)

This shouldn't be close, but Mountain View is without [player_tooltip player_id='1684534' first='Jettson' last='Gillam'] (collar bone) which changes things. The 24-7 loss to Summit raises questions.

#5 Dallas @ #6 West Albany EVEN (Dallas 21 West Albany 19)

Both teams have the potential of playing for a state title. Expect West Albany and their talented LB's to put a heavy focus on state POY candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha']. Look for this contest to go down to the wire or end in OT.

#10 Canby -13 @ Liberty (Canby 35 Liberty 17)

Liberty has not looked good the last few weeks, losing to a Sunset team that is way down and to Grant out of the PIL by 23. It will be important for Canby to win by at least a couple scores if they want to feel good going into their conference schedule.

#13 Sandy -6 @ #15 Hood River (Sandy 28 Hood River 20)

Sandy has been dealing with numerous injuries to top athletes, such as projected 1st team all-state WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1566153' first='Mason' last='Frederickson']. At the same time Hood River is a decent 5A program. This is an important conference game for both schools
